The Association’s members are all serving Cathedral Assistant Organists (or those holding equivalent positions) in a cathedral of the British Isles. There are also some members who are Directors of Music in large parish churches. The Association organises two conferences each year, in the UK and abroad. Membership is free, but there is a charge for conferences.
The aims and objectives of the Association are as follows:
To provide in-service training
To provide a network of communication between members
To give members the opportunity to discuss matters of mutual concern
To foster links with the COA, other Cathedral Associations and such
organisations as the RCO, RSCM, etc.
